Mint Harpoon is a fast-paced tap arcade game. Targets — gold doubloons, treasure chests, map scrolls, anchors and ship wheels — sail left to right across three horizontal lanes. Your goal is to tap or click each target before it exits the right edge of the screen. Every successful tap adds to your score and raises your combo multiplier, which can reach 6× for a massive point boost.
Watch out: hazardous Cursed Skulls and Cannon Sparks drift through the lanes among the valuables. Tapping a hazard immediately breaks your combo chain and costs one of your three lives. Missing a legitimate target — letting it sail off the edge — also costs a life. You have three lives per session, so precision matters as much as speed.
Each level lasts 45 seconds. As you progress through ten levels, targets move faster and hazards appear more frequently. Survive all ten levels with lives intact to reach the final score tally and see your rank.
Every time you successfully tap 10 targets in a row without hitting a hazard or missing, you trigger the special Harpoon Frenzy event. The screen briefly shakes and all moving targets on the lanes freeze in place for 1.5 seconds — giving you a rare moment to clear the board and maximise your combo.
More importantly, a glowing Vault Chest — worth 500 points — appears on one of the three lanes during the freeze. You have just 2.2 seconds to tap it before it disappears. Hitting the Vault Chest is one of the most valuable single actions in the game. Missing it resets your combo multiplier to zero, so aim fast but accurately.
Points vary by target type. Gold Doubloons give 10 points each and are the most common. Iron Anchors give 30, Map Scrolls 50, Captain's Wheels 40, and Treasure Chests 80. Coin Stacks are rare bonus spawns worth 40 points, and the Harpoon Frenzy Vault Chest is a massive 500 points. All scores are multiplied by your current combo multiplier — so a 6× combo on a Treasure Chest earns 480 points from a single tap.
Focus on maintaining your combo streak above all else. On higher levels, consider letting a less-valuable Doubloon escape rather than risk swiping a nearby Cannon Spark. Hazards are easy to misread at speed; learn their visual signatures — the dark skull outline and red eye sockets versus the warm amber glow of coins.
On levels 7 through 10, hazard spawn rates increase sharply. Slow your tapping rhythm slightly and scan each lane before committing. Players who rush through late levels often lose all three lives to misread hazards. Patience and pattern recognition win the vault.
